Kresnt – Diamonds Forever (Official Audio)

Vancouver

Canadian Hip-Hop Artist Kresnt drops his new single “Diamonds Forever” produced by Vancouver’s own Nani Beats (@officialnanibeats). This is the lead single for his upcoming debut Album titled “Rumi’s Reflection” which will showcase his versatility as a musical artist as he speaks on his personal life.

The soon to be smash-single, Diamonds Forever, features Toronto-based 808s and trap sounds; yet Kresnt’s subject matter will require a second listen. Known for his lyrics, the young Moon God who praises Eminem as the GOAT, takes the listener into a lyrical journey where he breaks down the obsession of an artist’s image in the clout culture:

“Oh my god they say they gone judge off appearance
So I rock the gear straight from the clearance
So when they say “damn, that this kid hot”
But the whole fit came straight from the thrift shop”

This song is more than just a Hip-Hop social mirror as the replay value is in Kresnt’s melody mixed in with his rapping. Kresnt’s goal of becoming a pioneer in West Coast Hip-Hop is coming to fruition as he continues to stay true to his unique sound which is melodic music featuring punchline bars that you would normally find on a Kendrick Lamar Album. His last single with Electro-Pop group Dirty Radio (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1cbhgVdQ-Sk) amassed over 120K views since its early year release.

[Official Lyrics]

[Chorus]

Diamonds on my wrist so i can shine little bish
Diamonds on my wrist so I can shine
So much ice up on my wrist
Can’t tell the time in this bitch
I can’t tell the time
But it’s fine
Cause we want
Diamonds on our wrist
So we can shine little bish
Diamonds on my wrist
So I can shine

So much ice up on my wrist
Can’t tell the time in this bitch
I can’t tell the time
But it’s fine

[Verse 1]

I want it all
Cause I’ve seen it all
Online and in movies
They rocking Gucci
Or Louis
Never old navy
Unless maybe
It’s an ad for back to school
Damn I hated going back to school
Those were my saddest days
Back when I cared about likes on my status days
Oh my god they say they going judge off appearance
So I rock the gear straight from the clearance
So when they say damn that this kid hot
But the whole fit came straight from the thrift shop
I say baby it don’t matter that’s just science
And the world won’t end that’s word to Mayan’s
But if i say I aint want that I’d be lying

Cause I done fell in love with the diamonds (with the)

[Chorus]

Diamonds on my wrist So i can shine little bish
Diamonds on my wrist So I can shine
So much ice up on my wrist
Can’t tell the time in this bitch
I can’t tell the time
But its fine

Cause we want

Diamonds on our wrist
So we can shine little bish
Diamonds on our wrist
So we can shine

So much ice up on our wrist
Can’t tell the time in this bitch
I can’t tell the time
But it’s fine

[Verse 2]

I use the ice
As the light
To brighten my days
I been confused
On what to choose
So I been hiding my ways

I say like damn what’s that price
Oh that shit is nice
Just my life
Oh my god that sound right
Ayyy
Damn my bad
I’m suppose to brag
About the tags
Like All on my back
When in fact
I ain’t bout that
Those are illusions
Don’t get it twisted
Same material
Different logo printed
I think it just makes us more distant
With the person inside
It’s been some time
I just wanna see the real you go and shine

You hearing voices from the speakers
They telling you go cop their sneakers
When the most important feature
Is your soul but they can’t sell that
So they don’t tell that
Im trying to help yall from yall fell at
Or fell from
Myself is who I’m trying save myself from
But I still want

Diamonds on my wrist So i can shine little bish
Diamonds on my wrist So I can shine

[Verse – Kresnt]

If i smash one time,
I could probably smash again.
Hoodie on at the club,
Young Anakin,
You and your friends
Like you Anniston
young CHRISTIAN girl
Down for another sin

Tell your friends
hop in the Benz
They wanna fuck
But the whip got no tint
All this money
Got no time to make sense
Only sipping bottles
That’s a juice cleanse

Presidential getting top, Like she Monica
All these jews round my neck, happy Hanukkah
And don’t really wanna be the one bother ya
But i can tell your father never fathered ya

Tell your best friend, From the west end
To come through, We can check in
To the west inn, Look at the view

Say you don’t really do this
But you got trust in me
And you brought your friends
So you got company

[Chorus – Walden Ash]:

bring all yours friends
bring another friend
if we begin now the night prolly never ends

tell all ya friends
tell all ya friends
can’t pop the first one at 4am

[bonus – Walden Ash]:

i own this
need a bad bitch who’s honest
pretty little thing that’s modest
devilish with a pussy like a goddess

$hAH expresses his Heartbreak with “Neon Love”

Vancouver Artist $hAH releases his debut album with a bang! Before we dive into the project which is more like a beautifully crafted 7-Single Poem by Shayan Eftekhari, we must speak on his Smash Single “Formula.”

Filmed by TiV Productions and directed by Brazil’s very own Raphael “Zectrix” Regis, this video captures the song perfectly; the dancers were a solid touch. This is the type of song you want to dance to and club to. $hah’s vocals with the pounding instrumental takes you to a euphoric positive state. We spoke to the film producer Kane Dabir and he mentioned,

“$hah is a super unique artist .. so we could have taken this video in multiple directions, but ultimately Zectrix, Paolo and I wanted to showcase a flirty fun video to match the quality of the song.”

Check out the video after the Jump.

Kresnt

The album begins with “Formula” and “The One” which are two club bangers; if I am trying to impress a girl with my music taste, I will definitely flex with those songs. Home ft. Psyah was a pleasant switch up from the beginning which focuses on a guy’s insecurities towards women; worth a listen; “Used to” is a solid transition from home and possibly the best written song on the project. $hah shows his hip-hop influence with tracks like “Company” and “Faraway” with hip hop drums and R&B style singing. The final track of the LP “Boys Don’t Cry” shows $hah in a very vulnerable state

The Album ends with my favourite song “Make it” which features celebrity Hip-Hop Artist Kresnt. Kresnt has been killing the Hip-Hop scene with his smash single “In Your Place” and his follow up melodic hit “D.Y.D.” $ha has recently signed a deal with the Lunar Cycle Label and we can expect more tracks from the two artists.
